Invasive Species Control
Invasive species management begins with learning which plants are truly causing harm on your land and how they behave over time. I walk the site with you to understand where problem species are showing up in your woods, prairie, or pasture, and how they’re affecting the native community.
From there we build a focused plan that fits the patterns we see on the ground. That plan may use mechanical tools like cutting, mowing, or pulling in places where access, slope, or soil conditions make that the best fit.
We also talk through timing, follow-up, and how the work will fit into your broader goals for the property. When herbicide is the most effective and appropriate tool, I do targeted foliar spray, basal bark applications, and stump/stem dabbing with a mix aimed at minimizing collateral damage.
The aim is not to erase everything at once, but to steadily shift the balance back toward a healthier, more diverse plant community that reflects both the character of this region and what you hope this land can become.
